There is a Theory that everything is made up of vibrating strings, smaller than the smallest particle. I was wondering what are other peoples thought on that. Do you think it is true? Untrue? What color do you think the strings would be? etc. So, like I said earlier, I would like to hear some thoughts on this.

Actually, the strings are smaller than the wavelengths of light, and photons would presumably be made of strings themselves, so strings would be colorless

I enjoy physics, and even own a copy of The Theory of Everything, A Brief History of Time, and the Universe in a Nutshell. String theory is beyond what all but maybe a dozen people in the world can understand. There's hope that the LHC will be able to prove or disprove some of the tenets of string theory, but that's about all I know about them.

That's quite possible and they'd have no color
