Anyways, It's an amazing game. What i love about it so much is how it's one of the few games that actually use motion controls in gameplay, not as a gimmick that just pisses you off. Every monster has a different way you have to swipe your sword to defeat it, and they could become difficult to do. The motion controls can take a bit to get used to, but they are so well integrated into gameplay that you hardly notice that you're even using them anymore. One complaint though is that certain attacks, such as spin attack, can be a bit annoying to pull off and therefore aren't to great to use in battle. Nintendo also finally changed the formula they use to make Legend of Zelda games. I'm not quite sure how to explain it, but you'll notice it's different if you've played this after playing all the previous ones.
So share any thoughts or whatnot that you have about this game (don't share any real story because I, among others, haven't actually finished yet)

Who else loves our fabulous, earring and leotard wearing, main villian with his elegant moves? You know, the one who looks slightly bad *** when he does one attack, but then does another attack that makes you question why you could ever think he could be bad ***?
And he does that creepy thing with the tongue for no reason.
This was the first Zelda game i have ever played, and i have to say, i'm impressed.
It's the worst console game. If you can, buy the "Legend of Zelda Collectors Edition" for gamecube. It has OoT (Ocarina of Time) and MM (Majora's Mask) on it, which are the best two. Windwaker (also for gamecube) is also very good. Twilight princess is good also, but too easy.
The second time round, in hero mode, they let you skip every cutscene that doesn't have dialog, which is nice.
Oh yeah. The first Zelda game i ever played, love it still to this day, even after about 5 years. In my opinion, i found this game to be entertaining and fun. There were so many new things in this game, like upgrading weapons. (This might've been in some of the other games, though. I can't remember.) In this game, the dashing totally replaced rolling. I remember in the other games you would always roll to go faster, but not in this one. You still have the option to roll, of course, but there isn't really any point when you can just dash. I also thought the flying was unique, and i always thought jumping off ledges and freefalling was fun. I liked exploring the islands in the sky, and was disappointed when there weren't any more. I loved the 'Timeshifting' in the Lanyru Desert, and when i did it for the first time i kept doing it like five times before i moved on. I also liked how in this Zelda game, unlike some of the others, Link's reason for trying to rescue Zelda was because, well, he sort of loved her. But, i would have to say that one of my favorite things in this game was how you never really have a need for Walkthroughs, because if you get stuck at a part in the game you can just return to Skyloft and talk to the Boi-oing guy, or just ask Fi for a hint. Finally, i liked all the side-quests in this game. It seemed like SS had a lot more than most of the others.
I enjoyed it quite a bit. Combat was pretty fun and that Beetle was a great item. Final battle felt satisfying and the music within was improved for going in a orchestra direction. I think this was quite the good game.

I felt like there was barely any, due to the point most of them had to do with the gratitude crystals, and they were all started in the tiny area of skyloft (or that pumpkin island).

I bought the 25th anniversary edition (it was the same price from gamestop), and it came with the game's soundtrack.
The wii can play gamecube games. All you'd need to buy is a gamecube controller.

Comparatively there were very, very few. Most Zelda games you go on side quests to get bonus items/upgrades, like bottles/increased magic/special items/heart piece sidequestx10. Windwaker definitely had the most to aside from the main story. So far in SS there's been like 3, collecting the "grattitude crystals (what are we, 5?)" the goddess cubes, and...wait, are there even any more?

That, and the game is extremely straightforward. There dungeons aren't big enough to get lost in, Fi re-tells you in red letters everything important which was just told to you, and there's not many puzzles that aren't instantly obvious.
