A Special Section For older Members with less strict rules ?

The Ability not to offend a particular person directly put the ability ti make references to a small group that have been annoying you lately. Of Course the ability to say this person is spamming or being offensive would still be there if the person just crossed the line.
And if the above is unacceptable then maybe just the freedom to speak about more Adult matters ?

But..but...but, I'm only 16! D:

How would the posters be filtered to make it so only 18+ are allowed access?

From my experience with similar suggestions, they aren't going to do it. I think it's because of the whole "we aren't going to change the rules for specific people", or something like that.

You know, you can do that already. It's just you have to be careful on what you say, like with everything else. I'm not sure what you mean by "adult matters", mind clarifying? Giving some examples.

It's called "not saying it on the site".
I sincerely doubt an 18+ forum would in any way allow what is essentially flaming, just as people having been banned for mockingly insult others before.
Besides 18+ =/= 'You are not magically not offended by being called an [explicit with an explicit explicit].'

Of Course the ability to say this person is spamming or being offensive would still be there if the person just crossed the line.

When did it ever become okay to go "Dude, u spam"?

Either way, I doubt that would be the purpose of such a forum section. Adult matters and less strict on the pg13 rules seems fine, but making it a place where you can insult people it probably never will be.

And I agree with Dev. How the heck is someone to avoid the less-than-18-years'o'age users from appearing in the section, when you can easily change the age in your control panel?
Not to mention whether this can't be accomplished in the regular forum sections, considering we have already had a discussion on fetishes and pornography in the WEPR earlier.
It's just a matter of taking the right stance, be mature about it and possibly warn people in advance.
And get some blessings from mods.

Why must I leave to my studies when the best threads are active?

Anyways, I see this as pointless. As Cen and Dev already mentioned, one could lie about his age. For all we know, Cen could be a 11 year old girl with a little wider vocabulary.

Well, if based on honesty, it could be filtered with the DOB given with the profile. Although yes, people do lie.

I think it'd be nice to have a place where the conversation and discussions are more mature. That said, a lot of 16 year olds on here can give a really good mature argument.

Perhaps an 18+ chat with AG3 would be better.

DOBs can be faked rather easily. Whilst it would be nice to have such a Forum, the costs of implementing it far outweigh the likely benefits.
