ok let me say it like this every one has become so politicly correct its rediculios and any one of minority who so chooses can play the race card and to be honest my black freinds dont even like black entertainment because lets face it odds are 1 out of 100 its good and another point black sub culture has spawned some interesting art work and a well celebrated genre of music but the television its created is just rediculois but i did like American History X but thats not realy a black thing
Why did you even think it was a good idea to start this thread? Just because there is a channel called Black Entertainment Television it doesn't mean it's racist. It's not as if you say the colour 'black' and you now are a racist.

To answer the question "Why do black people get their own TV channel?" - Well, why not?
We might not have a TV channel called White Entertainment, but let's face it - there are numerous channels with all white presenters, all white casting tv shows. Should Polish channels be banned, for having Polish presenters, using their language? What about French? No - it's all about a sense of belonging. It isn't racist in the slightest. When a white person tunes in to Black Entertainment, does their TV shut off because the channel is being exclusive and racist? Ahhh, no. Deal.
I have a theory taht they finaly stole enough tvs to actually make it feesable to have an all black tv channel and thus it was made. Jk But it is kinda rascist but i dont mind this kind of rascism. As long as they dont start preaching burn the white man on these channels(or something similar) let them have as many channels as they want. And we dont have "White channels" Because of certain equality laws That apperently dont work both ways.
