ok. the goal is to get to 100. i just started with the number one. the next person to post will post 2. this is a simple concept but it may prove challenging as we go on because people are dumb. and you can not just post the number, that is spam.
And that only stops the loading of the page for YOU, found that out the hard way.
Yeah I had known that but I wanted to try it just to make sure.
Everyone makes mistakes, on rough intervals of fifteen posts each.
Yup. I've guessed that we have about a 1/20th chance of messing up at any given post, which calculates to about a 1/100 chance of reaching 100 on any given counting, unless my math is not up to speed as it should be. Imagine that!
6. Let's pretend the average chance of a mistake is 1/20. This means that there is a 19/20 chance of any particular post working. Taking 19/20 to the 100th power results in the chance of success from 1. Based on this calculation, there is about a .5% chance of a successful count to 100 even with a 95% chance of a successful post. While the error chance varies, this calculation illustrates how difficult counting to 100 is. Also, soccerdude2 is wrong.
7. too much human element. its like asking the chance that ill make a basketball shot. sure you can watch me shoot 100 times and if i make 75 you could SAY that there is a 75% chance. but not really cause i could just stop trying and miss everyone.
