discussion for the next generation of video games consoles, (duh) which at the present time would be the Xbox 720, the PS4 and the WiiU (it will probably be changed to something elso) so what have you heard, what do you think will be of them etc.
I don't care about a PS4, the WiiU isn't too high on my priority list. The Xbox 720 on the other hand, I've heard next to nothing about because of my lack of motivation to do so. It doesn't even seem like Microsoft needs to either. Their pockets are full of cash. And people like them and the things they own. They would probably drag out the Xbox 360 as much as they could if not dor the other two companies making next gen systems also.
WiiU its suppose to be more powerful then 360 and ps3 thats what Jeremiah slackza said games= Zelda wiiu, A New super Mario brothers Super smash brothers, Pikmin3, ZombiU, Batman: Arkham city, Ninja Gaiden3:Razors Edge, Rise of the Guardians, Dark Siders2

well in gameinformer they said it was very likely (as i remember) that the 720 will have 6 times the processing power of the 360, that will be amazing and will probably put it above or very close to PC potential for gaming
Well I heard that a game developer posted on his twitter account that he was at the Microsoft XBox Durango Summit Meeting, or something to that effect. Which is causing some speculation that the next XBox is codenamed: Durango, and is being developed.
I haven't really heard anything about anything for the next gen consoles. Then again, I don't go trolling IGN and Game Informer and stuff looking for info, either.
I actually don't think it will be Xbox 720 but rather a 90 degrees turned 8 or just a 8. I think this because 1. 720 sounds stupid and then the next one will be 1440. 2. It will be the 8th generation of consoles. 3. It will have a 8core processor 4. The turned 8 is the symbol of infinity just like a circle (360 degrees)
But the only thing you know for sure Bout the next gen consoles is everything about the wii U.
sony and microsoft aint gonna give a lot away. last time they also made last sec changes because they found stuff in the other console they didn't had.
anyway until 2015 there will be no new xbox. they said whit the launch of the x360 that it wont be outdated in 10 years. and about a year ago they said they are still behind the 10 year lifetime of the x360. so at least till 2015.
720 sounds stupid and then the next one will be 1440.
1st 1080 then 1440 =) and 1080 sounds a bit cool again. (depending on how you say it) but at some point however this will turn into something like 5760 (360 times 16) wich is just very bad.

Above PC potential of gaming? It can't. Consoles can't go fast as a PC while running, nor can they have as good graphics.
still a super computer will always be better then a console. usualy by the time a console gets released it doesn't has the latest released products. and you can't play whit the console hardware. you can't go buy they latest console graphic card for example. but the pc's hardware can be played whit and be upgraded nearly endless. making it a unbeatable machine for consoles.
and if they ever are going to sell hardware upgrades for the consoles then why would they launch new consoles anymore? they just update the old one like whit pc.
