Why isn't there a way to recover your username?

Why don't the confirmation/reset password emails come with your username and previous password that are attached to that email?

For forgetful idiots like me, its pretty annoying that the userface isn't friendlier.

I had this problem and created a new profile for quite a long time until an admin strolled along with a "You do realize you have two profiles, right?"

It's something they could consider, for for future reference, just get in touch with the site and they should be able to find you username for you. As someone who's only been here a week, i'm sure this isn't *that* much or an issue for you so far.

If you want to recover your username, you'll have to contact an admin with the email that is attached to that username.
