Zoroatrianism is a very interesting religion. its not a paganic religion, but a dualist one. there are two gods by this religion. so when Islam get to persia, they didnt treat them like paganism. as i understood, it was mainly a State religion, not of the sinmple man. It also saw fire as a holy element, like jewdisem and christianity and Islam see water.

A redesigned symbol was introduced in 1997. It's a stylized, winged "M" meant to show Mazda stretching its wings for the future. The wings are also symbolic of the Zoroastrian - Mazda - Guardian Angel.
Thanks for the wiki article by the way. Reading it, I must say on point I find appealing is the principle of active participation and rejection of monasticism. But the apocalypse is too similar to the christian version, or should I say it the other way round; it got copied too evidently by christianity.
