I love the Total War series. My favourite one would have to be the Rome gold edition. It has a huge variaty of units and has amazing graphics for the time it was made. it's challenging, gives you 100's of hours playing time and is just good ol' fun

i like rome total war, but not for the game, i didn't really like that, just so Ahistorical. but its mod, Europa Baraborum, is amazing.

All of them because each has unique features and gets better like moving from melee/archery to guns/cannons Awesome!

Rome Total war, and the first expansion Barbarian Invasion are my favorite. They're simple, yet extremely fun and time consuming as well as addicting.
My favorite faction is Egypt. They're hard/impossible to kill during the campaign, and playing as them is equally difficult. I don't appreciate their unit spamming though :P

I still play RTW. Don't like playing with barbarians because of how uncivilized they are, you can't even build paved roads with those factions.
I like playing with Greeks, phalanx are invincible when closely packed together. Plus all the wonders are on the east and are easily accessible.

Yea, it's one awesome game.

I love total war mainly Rome Total War and Medieval Total War 2 the sheer scale and strategy of it makes it awesome I personally love having tons of heavy infantry and crushing the enemy by sheer power.

I love Rome Total War! It was an amazing game! The other games like Shogun Total War 2 is really complicated and hard to play.

Tons of fun, and just systematically killing everything that moves never gets old.

You might want to make sure your flanks are guarded against cavalry. Phalanx become moot when outflanked.
