It has been happening to a lot of people and seems to go back and forth over the entire website like a wave, affecting random users at random times... I've had it happening to me too and I recently saw it happening to some of my friends' profiles as well... but it goes away the same way it appeared, by itself and spontaniously!
I actually had it happen in the worst way to me right after the message was posted and my profile was mixed up with some user called Werni from Austria... (o.O)
But as soon as I posted in the forums, the data that was lost (Armatar, AP, Ranking, Userinfo in right top corner) was restored again asif nothing had happened! =)
@ fries : ArmorGames has been glitchy ever since it was online you know... these are some funny minor glitches, but there have been far worse ones in the past, of the kind that made people go mad over...
@ stinkyjim : That advertisement in the middle of the screen is a simple example of miss-allignement with and add... I reported it to Justin and he should be able to take care of it really soon!
Werni has the orange background, but your profile showed a red background during the glitch. Also, how can you tell the source of that glitch you had?

The advertisement is gone.

AG had very few glitches when I first joined, but it has since become more glitchy.
I wonder why these bugs target certain users and not others. =P
Well it's happened to Minotaur, DayCee, and now Ernie. Maybe it's the top ten people being "targeted". Notice to top ten people - run for your lives. They are everywhere.

Well then it shouldn't be attacking minotaur cause he's not in the top 30 much less 10.

Minotaur55 used to be in the top 10, but he lost about 8000 AP due to chat spam.

He probably has now, but he had the red one at first... minor detail.
I don't know the exact source, but it seems to be a glitch that has been going on for a while now... I've seen other users' profiles mixed up in a similar way, so hence the guess.
The advertisement is gone.
Which was the best and quickest solution of course. =)

I see you joined February 2011 and I'm actually talking about the end of 2009 up to the end of 2010... that's even longer ago, so...

I've had my share, so I'm sitting tight! Let 'em come! Ha! >

As for Minotaur55... his AP drop was caused by a cleanup combined with a bann, so... not the same 'virus' I experienced...

No I dont think it is a Top Ten tagerting thing, I think it just goes for random users. Besides it wasnt that big of a deal, it only lasted for 2 minutes, for me at least.

It doesn't have anything to do with the server. Coding doesn't change because of server problems. It's a website structure problem. One of the admins probably left a few numbers in the wrong spot. One glitchy line of code can cause a chain reaction of failure.
