You learn something new every day, whether or not you realize it right away. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Today I learned the difference between bowler hats, pork pie hats and fedoras. Before today, they were all just fedoras to me. It never occurred to me that all three of these different hat styles had different names.

I also learned that Roseanne is Jewish, and that gummy shot glasses exist.

On a rather more frivolous note, I was gonna comment that just now I learned that a-foruming and busily looking up the illustrative links to accompany it and whatnot, one should never forget about that coffee maker on the stove. (No, yes, the house is still standing, thanks, and none too smokey, to boot.)

I learned that themastaplaya doesn't appreciate people putting their life on the line for their country. I also learned that he thinks that the army is full of homosexuals even though they are not allowed to join the army.
