This thread was made to give members of the Armor Games community a chance to ask a Moderator a question, or make a suggestion (in relation to moderating). Please do not post general suggestions for the website, as those decisions are reserved for the Administrators.
But if you have a question relating to how we moderate, what it is that we do, etc. Please feel free to post!
Yes, the more a comment is voted up, the bigger and bolder the text will be for it.
And please note: I obviously can't talk about everything that moderators do. But general questions like this are great! So if you think that I probably won't answer a question when you ask it, or if it is about the inner workings of moderatorship, then that is a good indication that I will not answer it.
Just be aware that it might take a bit for me to reply sometimes. I am a student, and therefore usually very busy during the day. But I will try my best to get back to any posts as soon as possible.
Oh, Ooo, I have a question! You know that rule about the posts, I think it's 5-7 if hey have less than that they'll be deleted? What if you're just saying 'hi' or 'hello' back? I mean, it's quite hard to make a post quite long enough to where it won't be deleted when it comes to stuff like that. What are we supposed to say? Or is that okay?
Raptor, I'm not a moderator, but I could take an educated stab at that. Notice it says rules and GUIDELINES. I bet 5-7 is more of a guideline. There are some short sentences that are not spam, but spam could be longer than 7 words. See what I mean?
Also, if you are just saying 'Hi' or 'What's up?', you could probably have a more effective conversation over something like MSN or AIM. But I would definitely try to keep all posts 5 words or longer.
Serb, this is not a 'Ask a Moderator About Their Personnel Life' thread. You really have no business asking things like that. Please do not ask those kind of things.
Some moderators(not just on this site) may be criminals even, but that does not mean they have to be bad online. So taking someone`s behavior on the Internet and making it a real life one will rarely bring you to the truth.
