How did all these glitches happen? What happened that caused all these problems? Im sure the site wasn't like this a year or two ago, was it? And last question, are there any plans to make the current site better other then replacing it with the new "AG3"?
The staff was adding modern updates to code that was not-so-modern. It pretty much made the code get all discombobulated, and when one line of code is messed up, more code follows. It was a domino effect from an initial fail of adding something when they should have updated the code first. AG3 will be coming with a code rewrite so the site will be prepped for new updates.
All of these glitches accumulated the day Ferret was appointed an admin. I say we burn the witch!
You haven't been around for very long, have you? o.O
No, but I did notice that on that particular day, there was a huge cluster of glitches that didn't manifest themselves during the weeks prior.
That's because the glitch is carried around by a specific individual. The infected gave it to a somewhat inactive user, user lies dormant for days, then gives it to someone else, thus pushing it into circulation again. It happened quite often about 2 months ago as well, but not quite as much as it's occurring now.

I see, that makes sense now. Is it possible they could have done it more..... neatly?

Wow, how effective is this people? Now while we know AG3 will have a much better code set up and what not, are the Admins going to make AG2 at least a little bit better? Maybe?

They did what they did for a reason. AG doesn't have it's own hoster, so for all we know the hoster might not have been ready to handle a whole new hot batch of code form the dev's oven. There's a hundred different reasons why it happened the way it did.

They are. Joey is improving DNS and server stuff to make the site run faster. He also maintains the programs that connect flash games to the internet so you can share your own playable levels, highscores, etc. boppins is a backend web dev, so he tests for glitches, but I think mainly AG3 stuff. Ferret will probably improve some stuff considering he's the CM and has to do what the community needs. Leo does AG3 glitch testing; almost no AG2 stuff at all, I think. I don't know if Dan or John are doing anything. Tass reviews submitted games... so he doesn't do anything glitch related. thescles (I spelled that wrong) did tons of AG2 glitch testing and patching, but last I heard he was off the team for good, or something. Larry does AG3 stuff. Justin is head of customer support. That leaves the rest of the team to make games as game devs.
What makes you think the glitch is an infection?
It's happened to people who receive a lot of comments per day. DayCee had it for a while, and everyone he commented to in an hour got it.

That has already been disproven since users who have not received comments from MrDayCee recently got the glitch. I think it's random, not an infection.
Well it ain't giving people something good, therefore it has to be something like a infection.

McNeely isn't the host? I thought he was the host. How can the site run without a host?
