We should be able to search for users and add them to the friends list without adding them from a post they did.

You can search for users, but it's rather primitive.I've asked Boppins about adding a search for user function to the search bar since it was in the AG3 beta, no word yet.
A plus vote for me. It's tedious to find,for example, an admin, if (s)he hasn't ever posted on my wall.
This is a good idea, maybe Armor Games will add something like this. Cause you know, they are getting awesome at this stuff finally... =)

It's actually very easy to find admins because they're all on the about page.
