Please no more MMO achievements. Dead Zone is bad enough although Dawn of the Dragons is alright.. but level 100 for one achievement is pushing it. Might just be me though.
What I really want to see is making quests only available through the AG online save. That way people can't use .sol files to cheat their achievements. About 4 years ago, back when I was an active achievement hunter (and a lot younger) on Kongregate, I used to do this to games that were just really boring or had extremely difficult achievements. Needless to say, it's what killed the fun for me.
I guess it's a little contradicting because MMO games are one of the few you can't cheat... anyways, just my 2 cents.
Understandable if discussing cheating is not allowed here, please just remove my post if so (I posted something similar on the "Games that need Quests" topic).
On the Armor Games home page in the section popular games you can see complete game statistics. The same goes for the other sections on the home page. Yes you can actually see the complete statistics which includes (Quests available, Quests earned)
But it is not possible to see the statistics in Game categories (MMO,Action,Adventure,Arcade,Shooting,Puzzle & Skill,Strategy, Sports,Misc,Mobile,All)
The information I have gathered and processed were from Quests page. Often, these data do not fit with the data on the home page and the data in the game.So I decided to use only one source of data.
Q: Why these data do not match? A: Because the data is variable,I can not collect that data in real time, for something like that there should be a particular script.
I can only collect data at one moment of time, and then process it. In the next moment, these data is no longer valid, because is variable. That's why I highlight the tables. Possible errors 1%.
The curves are accurate because they are based on official informations.
Yes, that Last Stand Quests were very different sorts of Quests. Both AG and ConArtists spent a long time troubleshooting them. I think there should be new Quests on that graph already though, and we're releasing another set today!
Yes,after the new set of quests curve on the graph has rising path again. Which I most look forward to
Here's some interesting facts,On this day: 1. We have total 273 quests. 2. 36 games has quests. 3. There are 96 easy difficulty quests which is 35,2% of total. 4. There are 111 medium difficulty quests which is 40,7% of total. 5. There are 66 hard difficulty quests which is 24,1 % of total. 6. The rarest quest is "3M Damage" for Epic Battle Fantasy IV 7. Only 162 players have completed quest "3M damage". 8. Most players have completed Quest "First Encounter" for Kingdom Rush. 9. 236141 players have completed quest "First Encounter". 10. Players have earned the most quests for Kingdom Rush, over 2 million. 11. Players have earned the least quests for Sequester, approximately 8 thousand 12. The total number of earned quests is nearly 10 million. Wow
I really think that all quested games should have an online save option, otherwise if you're dealing with a constantly cleared cache and/or accessing from multiple systems some of them are impossible.
In this post I'll try to describe you my new idea This idea has a purpose to create a better gaming environment.
I believe that the Quest system needs a new component: Iam presenting you Challenges.
On this screenshot you can see the current appearance of Quest page.
This page has been modified/MS paint
Changes are shown in this screenshot.
Challenges can be divided into three groups:
-Gold Challenges with timer (hoursseconds 9999) -Silver Challenges with timer (hoursseconds 18099) and -Wood Challenges with timer (hoursseconds 36099)
I do not want to discuss the timer. Timer can be set to any value.
Quests/Challenges to Challenges/Quests changes the order by click.
Appearance of shield by its correct status
Important: The challenges do not have to be difficult,on the contrary they can be well designed and tricky. For example: Clucked Away quest for CTCA (Find and kill the hidden chicken.) This could be a challenge,(for example golden challenge). The point of this challenge is to make players to find their own solution which would result satisfaction. And after the challenge ends, solution may go out into public.
Perhaps many people will not like this, but also maybe many people will like this.So we need to hear everyone's opinion. This is just an idea
Hmmm, I'm curious what you feel the difference between a challenge and a Quest may be? Is it that it's timed? We have some Quests that are currently timed.
Can anyone tell me why you can't see the description of Quests when your at the actual game page? I find the whole Quest setup so confusing!. I would love it if it actually would tell when I complete one. And is there any leveling up type award for achieving quests? Otherwise what is the purpose? I like some of the games on here but I find Kongregate's setup much easier to understand (sorry).
Hi! I've completed all the quests in the site so far (474) but there is an user who has 475 (MrDayCee)... how is that possible?
I noticed that he has a lot of "Armorgames Website" quests, that I don't have... and I don't know why... I'm Member since: 7/3/2008, and I don't have any legacy quests! =( I think I was a Duke or something...
