@red303: I think you're misunderstanding the underscore glitch, so I will clarify by using quote and reply. For better understanding, I will use the quote= function to identify who wrote each quote. The quotes will come in chronological order.

I will start with the following quote:
AG does not recognize capitals or underscores, so this causes things to be slightly messed up when peoples usernames differ because of these.
Based on Jacen96's post, red303 = Red303 = RED_303, so all three will lead to the same profile. Now for my post that attempted to define the underscore glitch:
Two users can use the same alphanumeric characters, but one user has an underscore and the other not. Since AG profile displays are not underscore sensitive, both usernames will display the same profile. When one of the involved users is forum active and the other is a "ghost", the displayed profile will usually belong to the forum active user, but the profile of the "ghost" user will sometimes display instead. When that happens, that is what is usually referred to as the underscore glitch. However, the underscore glitch is always active, but it will usually affect the "ghost" user and not the forum active user.
Either I worded this poorly or you read it poorly, because I think this sums up the underscore glitch. When I look at this post, I realized that I forgot to mention that profile displays are also not case sensitive. As it was originally worded, you probably interpreted my post to mean that RED_303 =/= red303 when those two display the same profile. You are affected by the underscore glitch because someone else created a red303 with 1 or more underscores. That user is the "ghost" I was referring to, and you are the forum active user. I shall now apply the new knowledge to your post.
So the problem came up again with my profile not going to my actual profile. I've confirmed that it isn't the profile "ghosts" you guys talked about last discussion ( my "ghost" profile is RED_303). Well if you've guys got answers, i'll gladly listen to them. Oh and by the way Mr.DayCee, I signed up with red303. If that doesn't work, try Red303, but I doubt that is my exact username.
The profile that's not yours but is displaying as yours is the "ghost" profile. A "ghost" is a user with 0 AP, an empty about, and a shield armatar. The profile currently displaying as yours fits the definition of a "ghost". Also, case of username does not affect what profile is displayed. That is, red303 displays the same profile as Red303, which displays the same profile as RED_303, which displays the same profile as any combination of letters, numbers, and underscores which result in the following order of 6 characters:

{r/R, e/E, d/D, 3, 0, 3}

The slash means or.

Hopefully, this will give you a complete understanding of the underscore glitch and how it affects you.

But i noticed that it had a valid email address and it was a user since June 4 of 2012. Also, how can I get back to my normal account? Someone might want to post on my profile, though I doubt it.

I don't think the contact info and join date matter. Also, there is nothing you or another user can do about the underscore glitch since I think it's random which profile is displayed.

The problem has been addressed and explained; redundant posting besides AG rules issue, therefor locked...
