Welcome to the fourth installment of the Super Star Showdown series. An annual tournament for gamers from different forums to come together and compete against each other.
This edition will feature Kongregate against Armor Games. Gamers, from either forum may enter. Up to sixteen players per forum. Once enough people have signed up the tournament will begin.
The tournament follows a single elimination style structure. That means you will face one opponent per round, with the winners moving on and the losers going home.
The champion, gets rewarded with a trophy sig and avatar. Which is a specially designed art piece to commemorate their victory.
Here are the rules:
1. Scores must be submitted as a screenshot. No other proof will be accepted.
2. All rounds last for exactly 3 days (acording to GMT.) Scores posted before or after the deadline will not be accepted.
3. Hacking is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate disqualification.
I really do not think it is fair that there is a vote to change the game (when there are only a few hours left) on Kongregate, but no word here. Don't we get a say on it?

That's why I'm reluctant to change the game. For the most part, nobody on AG has said anything bad about the game.
I think the complaints coming from Kongregate are largely due to them losing their first round matches.

"I don't like this game."
"This is probably the worst game I've ever played!"
"why... why do you pick games that are either based on luck or the amount of time played? :*( please let the next games be games of skill (unless i wont have enough luck to beat my opponent... in that case i wont care much)"
...Yeah, there's definitely a lot more complaints on the Kongregate side.
I don't like the game, and it is luck based after the 20k speed up...but I do manage to get ~30k every few times at least. The scores we have up are not impossible to beat by any means (well, except Leo's, Sour's and mine, which required probably at least 2 hours worth of play time).
I'm neutral in change the game. I worked for a good score, but if everyone wants to play a different game that isn't so luck based, that's fine too I suppose.
I don't care for the game, but I don't feel that changing it at the last second is going to change anything. Regardless of win or lose, this is the game we were challenged with, and it's the game we should play.
You can't change the game. Especially because the people voting are actually losing their matches and can't be bothered to get better scores.
If I was in their position I would do the same thing but I put in an entire podcast (4 hours) into this game and if it changes (especially to the game that they want) there HAS to be some sort of consequence to the player if they are losing at the time of the switch. I don't mean something small, I mean like 50% more score to beat their opponent
However, I still vote no because this should happen within 24 hours of the tourney beginning and not with so little time left with AG seeming to win the majority of matches.
I wake up this morning, check the thread, and this is what I see. If the game had been changed... well at least my opponent is on an extended leave of absence.
awsome LOL. i found alittle trick (that isnt cheating) that makes the game alittle easier. its not a "now i will obviously be much better and beat my own score" but it does give you more of a chance to survive on those unfair far away holes and helps when you mess up and roll to the wrong side.
