I came back from a long break, say a month or two and I didn't recognize any of the mods. have they all changed or am I just losing it? o_O

Here are some recent changes to the mods and admins:

MrDayCee has been added as a moderator.
Ferret and CoolioNiato have been added as admins.
John is no longer an admin because he left Armor Games.

You may be having recognition issues due to some of the mods and admins using armatars that did not exist a few months ago.

Hello again, Kalb!

Only a month or two? You should only be unfamiliar with MrDayCee, then, since he was the only new addition since that time. The rest of the mods and admins have remained unchanged.

Edit: And Ferret too! Thought his registration date was older than 10/15 :P

He became a mod last year, around June, if I'm not mistaken.
