I would pick Obama because I like his views on the world more than McCain. Although I am Democrat, this is not why I pick him. I think Bush is an idiot for keeping troops in Iraq and thinking he can make a country like ours, and McCain has most of the same views.

I'm not from America but with the socialist youth here in ireland, it's a topic thats discussed. The estimate figure for the middle east war is three trillion dollars. Thats whats being spent on killing civilians. Think where that money could have went to benefit the american citizens - on education, higher wages. I hope Obama gets it due to his liberalism. McCain will be Bushs prodigy and him gaining president would continue to destroy america.

if we drop out of this war it will signal defeat america has only ever been defeated once before in vietnam this is a war for democracy if we let another ruler like the last one we will be sent over there again because of terrorist attacks so we should finish what we started and save democracy once again to insure they haver the freedoms we take for granted
It is a very difficult choice because both are kind of equal in my opinion. They both have flaws and good things about them. I am not really republican or democrat. I (would if I was old enough) vote based on who I think is the better person. Honestly, I don't believe either of these candidates will actually run the country. We need a president who will lay down the law with our government. There is a lot of scandal in the government now and we need a strong president to clean it out.
