I find 20 incredibly hard.. There's not enough firepower to take down all the diver's that just run straight to the gems. You have to save a fear or meteor for them, but you are mana drained for the entire map because you have to shell out 900 mana as fast as possible to sink those ships.
Tricks to completing level 20 with Brilliant rating
Order of build and take outs:
1) Build 2 dens and 2 towers on the 4 outer places first. 2) Upgrade towers asap when gold permits 3) Build the crypt and last den on the open spots as fast as gold permits 4) Take out bottom light house first. 5) Take out top light house after 6) Build crypt on top left position 7) Take out top pirate ship 8) Build tower and den on bottom left position 9) Take out bottom pirate ship
General considerations. 1) if there are no drops of gold or mana in first 2 waves. Restart. 2) reserve scroll drops near pirate ship for divers 3) reserve scroll drops on main path for golems and "carriers" (forgot real name) 4) keep mana reserve before each chef/diver wave for a fear 5) keep mana reserve before each "carrier" (forgot real name) for 2 fear, do these early when they are in range of light house 6) keep mana for a meteor before each golem 7) do not take out pirate ships first as you will need the drops and the XP to towers

Thank you so much, I never considered leaving the ships up that long because of the extra divers, but it still came down to luck of the drops (mana pots, gold, scrolls).
The normal enemys are not a problem at the final boss, they are, more or less, cannonfodder, only if some smugglers came in you may need a terror or two, to kill the boss (this ship) click on the cannonballs he shoots asap when they land (otherwise they explode and release a smoke cloud), this is no problem, some divers will take their way from the ship to the lower gem depot, its not the worst idea to welcome them with a meteor or terror when they hit land. All in all the final boss is rly easy to handle, have a few terror spells in reserve (no problem, your mana-pool could be maxed at this point^^).
How can I get the "Deadman's Chest" badge and the "Found Treasure" quest? I found only one chest, on level 21. I got it several times, but only counted as one.
There is one Treasure on each of the 3 new levels. You have to get all of them at least once to get the quest. The Treasure on level 19 is on the top next to the mana well. The Treasure on level 20 is below the middle Sacred Stone.
