I'm working on a flash game that would be similar to Smash Brothers. BUT!!! Instead of using Nintendo characters, I'm going to use characters from other popular flash characters. Like the Bowman, Vulcan, and Fancy Pants, ect.
Here is what I need: -Game makers, I need your permission and help to use your characters in this game.
-Fans, I need you to give me ideas on what characters I should ask permission to use and what you want to see.
-VERY EXPERIENCED GAME MAKERS, I need people to actually make the game. I am taking care of everything else, but I'll need somebody to create gameplay. I want there to be a story mode, so I will make that.
Please post on this if you can help or have any ideas. If I do use your character because you let me, I will give you full credit.
I made the idea, the scheme, I'll tell them what needs to be done. I am going to write the entire story. Make up the moves. The controls. Just tell the person to make what I have given them into a flash game. I'm the director, they are the producer. I feel like a lazy prick saying that, but it's what must be done.

these are just some idea's that i picked up from games on armor games. Hope it helped!
In the story mode i would definitely add bosses. Like add bosses from games, and if you have enough time add bosses according to the character. If I were you definitely add a stage like Hyrule Temple and also final destination. This is even an harder part, a stage creator. Try LAN and online too, that would make it at least 2 times better.
Online. You must be really good game maker to attempt it. Online is a complicated matter. Not even Krin or Tony or even John has ever done it. You must have an Elite team to do it
Well, you can think about making that when you see that your game becomes a hit. If it gets a small amount of Plays, I wouldn't recommend making a sequel. If you do get a large amount of plays, make sure to make new twists that are original.
Well why are we talking about the 2nd one? First of all i think that if all of the good game makers (I dont now all the names) tomake this game then i think that online would be the coolest thing around.
No offense, but SSBB is jsut a street fighting game with different characters from different places. But this new "street fighting" game would be cool.
FunnyBunchesOfGoats, I doubt you will find anyone to help you. The sad truth is, you can't be the leader of a game making team if you dont have any coding or artistic talent. No one will accept drawing or coding what you order them to do, because you have no status or respect. To earn that position, you have to be one the the best element of the team. Anyone can have ideas and order people around, but only some have the skills to actually create a game. In flash game making, making the game is better than just thinking about it.
I still hope for you that you will find a really good scripter ready to obey your orders, but I would suggest that you start learning actionscript.
I think that it would seem like a cool game but I really don't think that it seems like an easy thing to do. It would take a very long time and plus, no to mention, that it costs a little to make a game.
