Where do we rate the #run3rd game? It claims to have a score of 85 so far, but I can't find anywhere to rate it, and the standard comments are replaced with Twitter hashtags.
On that note, after reading the Twitter reaction, are these people serious...?
This game is a complete joke. The rating should be 10/100 imo.
The game might be some sort of advertisement. A similar effect occurred to 3 Chevy-related games a year or so ago (one of them is still on the site and can be found here). Note that the game I linked to is now rateable. Another example of an advertisement game was a game called Rio Pairs Match created in July 2011 to advertise a movie called Rio. That game has since been deleted, but this thread shows the public opinion of the game and should allow you to compare that game to the game in question here.

I would guess that this might be the way you can rate this game. But it's just a guess. I simply took the rating link of another game and replaced the game id.
Freedomsaver, that doesn't actually works. If you tried it with other games and refresh the page, no rating is shown (The orange bar that shows how much you rated). The best way is to disable CSS (Google it yourself how to do it on your browser) and scroll down until you saw something like this: //For example
Run3rd is not an advertisement, at least not for any money-making venture. It is what it says it is, a way to honor your loved ones, causes and ideas that matter to you, by running either in Real Life or virtually through the game.
For more info, check out the mission statement at http://run3rd.blogspot.com and these two posts written by Sean Astin: http://run3rd.blogspot.com/2013/02/reflections-on-run3rd.html http://run3rd.blogspot.com/2013/02/is-run3rd-prayer.html
I'm sorry Belleferret, but playing a laggy one-button game doesn't honor anything any more than if I play any other game on the site. It solves nothing and helps nobody, and our inability to rate or comment on it is proof that the creator is aware that it's a shameless self-promotion.
Amarantamin, if a player tweets their results, or checks out the list of charities, that is spreading awareness, and while not much, it is not nothing. Expressing for yourself and to your followers the things that matter to your heart is not nothing.
If a player looks at the Run3rd mission statement, and reads the article about getting starting running, and is inspired to get off the sofa and start running, that is not nothing. I know for a fact that many people have been so inspired by Run3rd. Even if celebrity is a big factor, it serves as a way for people to improve their fitness levels, and that is not nothing.
Do not confuse the creator or inspiration for the game with the programmer. I don't know why there is no obvious way to comment or rateâ"though some are apparently finding a way to rateâ"but I doubt it was for any nefarious reasons. No one got paid or is making any money from this. It's not meant to be a high-end game, it's meant to be a bit of fun with a bit of heart behind it.
I have more knowledge of the motives of the creator than you do, as I've been involved with Run3rd since its inception. Am I defending a friend? You bet. And that's not nothing.
