So there were a few people, and they were brainstorming and then told me to make this thread. Blame them, unless this gets really sucessful or something.
This is a discussion over which 'weapon' is better. There might be a lot of unconventional weapons. And all you have to do is argue your point; which weapon you think is better. No spamming or flaming or whatever it is that people do that is annoying.
First up; Biting with or without braces?

A glass bottle. A worthless thing to put a drink inside, but a strong weapon to beat someone up. Therefore my vote goes to glass bottles.

I like the human hand, especially when the Bride uses the five fingered death blow in Kill Bill. Five fingers, gentle touch in the right place, the victim walks away, count to three, Bill drops down dead.

I don't tihnk he realized there are precise options.. as for your question, the little efficiency a knitting needle has as a weapon lies in stabbing. Scratching would also work but you'd need to come very close.

Attention!-------------------------------------------------

Storm is having... erm... "computer problems", and so cannot update the thread with a new set of weapons to compete. I've emailed her and she instructed me on what to do next and so I will be the judge for this week, and possibly the next, depending on when Storm comes back to AG.

It was a unanimous win for Glass Bottle (13) vs Needle (0).

The new set of weapons----

Stabbing with a screwdriver!

VS.

Hitting with a wrench!

VOTING STARTS NOW!

(And yes, I'm modeling this after B.o.B. Don't judge me. =P)

Screwdriver. You can stab, pull out then hit with handle.

pull out then hit with handle.

Hitting someone with the handle of the screwdriver is certainly botherful, but not that deadly. Stabbing is way more efficient. Of course it could work if you're trying to knock out someone. But then the wrench is much better at it.

I don't know why, I would go for the wrench because I would feel more secure with holding a wrench than a screwdriver. The steel ones are heavy so you can go rampant wiht those, and the pointy ends can still be somehow used for stabbing (even though they're not straight and makes it difficult, if not unefficient).
Aluminium wrenches would of course spoil all the fun. .

Screwdriver, I choose you! My vote goes to the screwdriver, I would more prefer stabbing than hitting.
