The modifications refer more to improvements, not criticizing... These are some suggestions that might can improve the forum.
----------- E D I T B u t t o n-------------
It is generally known that the absolute majority of users wants Edit button! Mistakes are possible, we all make mistakes. There is no unmistakable user. We all want sometimes to fix or correct the post that we made. For example, I missed to tell something, and I think it's important, I'll have to post it again. And not everyone is good with English grammar and spelling, and when he noticed that something is wrong, he can correct it.
In any case, Edit button would improve the quality of posts.
But since abuses are possible, there should be a time limit in which the modifications are possible! Or other limitations, for example you can only correct the last post that you made. Or is it required to put the reason for the correction.
Just put this, at the beginning of each post with spoilers.
Back when the forums allowed HTML, you could've made make-shift spoiler text by just making the background of whatever text you wrote black. But alas, it was not meant to be.
As I was told at the beginning of this topic, I have many more suggestions, but slowly, one by one
I follow the topic: Armor Games Community Activity Initiative which is located in: Community - The Tavern
After the explanation you'll see what this is all about.
First I would like to have a chat on the subject : Link that leads to the forum
If we consider the link as advertising, we can conclude that it is was poorly done.
It is standing on the top of the page. This is true. But it is not marked somehow. It blends into the environment. So he loses significance.
In my opinion it should be marked. Like Quests page.
The word 'Community', in my opinion, should be changed to the word 'Forum' Forum is a universal word! I do not think everyone knows what exactly the word Community means, or in what context. Especially for those who are not in English-speaking areas.
In the spirit of Armor Games community could also be called like this:
-chat chamber -Meeting Hall -Knights Chatrooms
Anyway let's get serious
I think this would greatly improve number of visitors to the forum and therefore the forum itself would be much better.
In a previous post I stated the reasons for the change
to repeat them again: In my opinion it should be marked. Like Quests page.

And in terms of good advertising for the forum I thought it should look like this
Sadly at this time this won't happen. But that's an interesting suggestion ivanxxxxxx. Let's see how things go with the text change, and go from there.
Also, speaking to the edit button. It's something we've been discussing, but the main flaw with it is the ability to troll other people by editing your previous post. Possible restrictions may be a time-limited edit, or show past versions of what was edited. Or maybe even restricting it to moderators or admins.

If you do make it so previous versions can be viewed, it would need to be hidden until you press a button that says something along the lines of "Pre-edited".

You'll have to trust the community. I visit another forum that's much larger than this one and their edit button works well, little to no problems with users editing their posts to troll others. They don't have any restrictions, but the admins and mods can see the edits.
GhostOfMatrix - While you may not see issues, might they still exist behind the moderator curtain? I'm not saying we're against it, but we are cautious.
That's possible but I don't think it's a big deal there. Nobody brings up edit button abuse there.
You could have trial run with the edit button. If the issues are minimal, leave it as is. If it's being abused, introduce restrictions. I just don't see it turning into a problem on this forum, most of the posters follow the rules.
Edit button: ''But since abuses are possible, there should be a time limit in which the modifications are possible! Or other limitations, for example you can only correct the last post that you made. Or is it required to put the reason for the correction.
It also can serve as a preview of the post!''
About change name Community to Forum ''The word 'Community', in my opinion, should be changed to the word 'Forum' Forum is a universal word! I do not think everyone knows what exactly the word Community means, or in what context. Especially for those who are not in English-speaking areas.''
But since the name in the meantime has changed, nobody pays attention
