No 90s music because I think most of it could fit in really well right now. I'll give you a bit of room though. 1991 is alright.

Personally, I think Blisters in the Sun would be a really popular song if released now. It's really infectious and I think it would still be popular. It'd probably have a change of instruments though.

I think anything Black Sabbath would be big. They don't belong in any decade. They're kind of by themselves.

All the classics would still have solid fanbases, I think. What about Come and Get It by Badfinger? It's very catchy and it's a great song.

Bohemian Rhapsody. That one never gets old and should be our national anthem... And there's a new thread right there! *leaves and posts thread*

Oh Yeah by Yello from the mid-80s is about on par with Daft Punk's Around The World, but that's 90s.

Although it was released in the 50's, Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode" would be very popular.

"In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins has become very well-known, even though it's over 30 years old. It actually was re-released in New Zealand in 2008 and became a #1 hit there, after it had already been a top 10 hit 27 years earlier. Who's to say it couldn't happen on a global scale?
