Ok, in this thread you simply post whatever bands, songs, or playlists you've been listening to recently. I don't believe this is a duplicate thread but I'm sorry if it is. One rule though- don't be a music snob/ elitist. A bit of debate is fine, but don't bully anyone out of the thread. If we're all respectful and open-minded, this is a great way to share music and maybe try something new.
The past few days I've been listening to a few songs by Wintersleep: "Nothing is Anything (Without You)" , "Weighty Ghost", and "Laser Beams." Aside from those, I haven't had much of a craving for anything in particular in the past few days and I've been using shuffle on my iPod.
Currently listening to FSK radio/Freies Sender Kombinat (Free Broadcaster Combination), Hamburg, Germany; was reminded of them through a link somewhere: http://www.fsk-hh.org/ .
Turns out the Kombinat actually is a pun on GDR lingo, apparently (thoughts I as it occurred to me hey let's look that up); according to W'edia, the (Soviet) term would be a combine, in an industrial enterprise conglomerate sense.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Octane on SiriusXM. I've got kinda addicted to a couple songs. "Remember Me," by Emphatic is good and, "Running Out of Time," by Farewell 2 Fear isn't too bad either. I'd recommend either if you like hard/nu-rock.
... Which btw through various corners & free associations brought me back to NY/New Jersey's WFMU. Seem to be going strong as ever, much listening pleasure.
