I prefer a communist state because I can't trust other people making descisions, so I would make sure people are equal through my complete control of it.

Just bringing this back to the top. I like a democracy, when people are smart. (Not a democratic republic) Unfortunaltly, several people are dumb. I have yet to find a soulution for that. I don't think it is Democratic rebublican, but it could be a theocracy.
That is if they are smart. If people are dumb, they will make the wrong decisions. Btw, America is not a democracy. It is a democratic republic. Democracy is better with a smart crowd.

If only the days of true democracy could comeback...I do not think there is a current government that is truly a democratic one anymore. The Greeks had it right. They more or less made democracy, along with many other ideas we use. Yet democracy was been perverted. Sad, really.
