I got a computer with Windows8 a few weeks ago and whenever I go to spiral Knights and click play nothing happens. So why? 'cause I know a screen should show and say run.
... Or, you could be blocking something else, not allowing the game to run.
The "something else" you're blocking could well be JavaScript (I think it's JavaScript, not Java, which is required, but it may well be the other way around, I'm never too sure), and/or consequently FlashPlayer, which depends on it; the difference being you'd have it installed alright, it's just not properly running where it should.
Ad blockers may block this, or any of quite a number of finer browser or system settings. For starters, try in different browsers and see if that works. Next, tell us which browser(s) you're running.
I'm Having the same Issue. I am using Mozilla Firefox and have Java completely updated. I know that this post is old, but these issues are happening again. A lot of people have been talking about it in the comments and I would like to know what anyone did to make it work. I would love to play again. Oh, and it is not telling me that it was blocked, so either it's not telling me it blocks it, or it's not being blocked and it's another issue. Please help.
It looks like the actual site is down. I'm not sure when this started (or how long it's been going on). Since this is something on their end, it's not something that we can fix. Let's give it some time to see if they can fix things, @A_Bowl_Of_Cereal
Okay. I just downloaded the actual launcher from the site and play on that. I may have to restart, but at least I wasn't far and can still play! @Moegreche
