I am a christian, i and i strongly belive in my lord jesus christ, and i also belive that if you belive in him and except him as your savior, u will go to heaven. and i also believe that he created the world, not the big bang, or that we came from stupid apes.

ummmm, i really really have to disagree with you samy when you say that atheism is more pushed on people than any other religion. i think christianity in general has been pushed on people more. i have never heard of a atheist missionary.
better watch all that money...

pardon me. i didn't not mean to tell you to your face point blank there is no god. (i don't remember doing so...)
evolution is not taught in all schools. I was not actually taught the evolution theory untill i began homeschooling. of course i knew about it before then. I was lutheran (christian) and i knew about evolution as a theory. As far as i know in schools it is presented as a theory.

Sorry, when i said you i meant atheists in general. Also It has to be taught in every public school. Also "science" in general strives to prove there is no God.

i thought as much (actually i am not atheist... much to your surprize. )

oh, i must have missed it in school because i have moved around so much. also, not all science strives to prove there is no god. the study of a cat, does not say "this proves that there is no deity" i think science and religion contradict each other, yes. i don't think that they strive to prove each other wrong, but i'm no scientist. religion, in its earliest days (in my opinion) was a way to explain the universe. It answered questions that made people uneasy. it seems to answer all the questions that bother people most. interesting, don't you think?

Which is why i "" science, science was in no way created to deny the existence of God yet some scientists seem to make this their goal. Also are you a theistic evolutionist? Because that DOESNT work.

Maybe it is your impression that some scientists' goal is to disprove god. you should research it. i'm sure that you would find some are not trying to disprove, and some are. they are trying to find answers and they thing they will find their answers in science instead of religion.

i guess you would say i am a theistic evolutionist. it does work in my sense, because i don't take all of the creation story for granted. i think it is possible that god created the universe, but i don't think it happened like in the creation story. maybe god did stuff before the big bang. i don't know. i am still exploring what i believe. i don't know if i will ever have an exact set of beliefs and know exactly what i believe. i will always still be exploring.

...atheism is more pushed on people than any religion. You've been telling us all how stupid we are yet have we tried to convert you. Also I'm not pushing, your just a bit touchy and insecure about all of this.

One: I'm not atheist
Two: I never called you stupid
Three: Telling me that there is a god and that I am wrong is pushy. You should try to accept others beliefs as valid for them.

I'm Muslim and a usual Muslim accepts other religions because everyone is equal. I do not see how there is no god; we are in a universe in a place which is is a large space which is part of a larger space and so on. Where does it end? Humans do not know.

I thought Muslims only accepted other religions that believed in God? It even describes that infidels are those who do not. Then again it was deliberately written to contradict itself so you could come to any conclusion you wanted to. If you come up with the right one, I'm all for it.

Death sin and the soul contadict evolution, none of the three work with it.

One: I'm not atheist
Two: I never called you stupid
Three: Telling me that there is a god and that I am wrong is pushy. You should try to accept others beliefs as valid for them.

Then what are you?
It's been implided
You've been telling me there is no God! and I'm wrong thats pushy as well i guess. Also only one belief can be right, one belief isn't valid for some and not for others, I recignize I may be wrong, but I've yet to been proved it.

Ahem.

First, let me tell you all that they are beliefs.

Belief [n]: Something that someone/something believes in that may or may not be true.

Opinion [n]: A person's ideas and thoughts towards something which it is either impossible to verify the truth of, or the truth of which is thought unimportant to the person.

Enough said...

Story: When I was leaving school one day I noticed a large billboard that was from a church it read: ATHEISM IS IGNORANCE! Let us help you!

So pshaw... I'm athiest!

Hey thats a bit stupid, no church should have that...however there shouldn't be a metro in DC thats says there is no God just be good for goodness sake, it works both ways. Also at this point it seems like I'm arguing that my belief should even be classified as one :/
