This thread is a place to discuss quests for Road of the Dead 2. Here is a list of the current quests available for this zombie-squishing action game...
Hydroficially Evolved Destroy a fire hydrant and use its water to extinguish your engine fire. Hardness: Easy
Blunt Force Trauma Kill 100 zombies with your vehicle. Hardness: Easy
Death Race Maintain max speed for 0.5 km. Hardness: Medium
Mutant Sandwich Survive 2 mutants side grappling both characters. Hardness: Mediuim
Heaven Sent Save 50 civilians in Rescue Op before failing. Hardness: Medium
Into the Wild Blue Yonder Complete story mode. Hardness: Hard
Mutant Stomp Reach 20 km in mutant meltdown. Hardness: Hard
I didn´t said anything xd i just was lucky to found a lot of garages and roads, the average is having 6 mutants at km 8 even if you shoot at the belly. By the way it is always better to keep them alive as far as you can.
Everything is already at it's lowest settings. Just thought I was going to make it but died due to lag at 14.3km. Really done this time lol.
Atleast I got the rescue op quest. All I got left is that 0.5km at max speed and mutant meltdown. I'll just wait until the game is lag free. Also, how the hell am I supposed to do that 0.5km max speed quest? Any tips?
Avaoid anything... dont hit boxes, zombies or everything else. Fresh start from beginning might be a good option, cuz at this point you may have less obstacles than in later stages. About the lag, make sure you have only one ad visible (you have 2, one above and one below the game-screen), 2 can cause lags (also some ads alone can cause lags, so maybe readjust the screen then^^). This help sometimes.
Ah there we go i finally got them all. I think about 4th try in total. I would do mutant meltdown and then if i failed wait a day, due to lags or concentration and frustrations.
Start a new story game. At the beginning, there are significantly fewer obstacles and zombies around to hit, and you are guaranteed to not hit a bottleneck until about 1 km.
If you run into the first alley bottleneck (where the road gets stupidly narrow with dumpsters), and haven't gotten the quest, quit and start a new game again.
It only took me 2 or 3 tries this way to get the achievement.
Each time i got lagged I wondering about all that graphic useless details that cause the lag. Example: unnecessary blood drops that dissappears gradually on the time pixe by pixel, thousand of different textures and details for houses and cards, trillions of miniboxes that you hit but anything happens except that it has to render the movement of the box over all the screen, useless puddles of blood that the game has to render too, animated sprites of the fire on other cars (we are on Low Quality, we can manage without rendering the animation of the fire)..
The game is nice but the Low Quality does not make its purpose!
Well, I've complained enough about the actual game ... time to belly-ache about the quests a bit:
In one fell swoop, you've added the three toughest quests to the quest roster. Is that fair? (I'm going by number of players completing quests here.) There's ONE tough one from Strike Force Heroes 2 (230-ish completed), ONE from Treadmillasaurus, and ONE from This is the Only Level 4 -- and still there are THREE quests from this game that are below the SFH toughie numbers.
For OCD people like me this is hair-pulling, eye-glazing, head-banging, wall-punching, mind-numbing, computer-bashing frustration.
There. I've vented, so I'm good. (But still, if there's anything you could do for us mere mortals -- not demi-gods like Ivan -- it would be much appreciated.)
Armorgames quests are a good OCD-test XD In the moment you got one, you have to get all of them. If you go to the game-chat below of it, you will see a lot of people complaining about lag. I´m sure that if the gamemakers solve the problem with the lag (again, make a real low-quality version) this number will increase consistently.
Talking about the quest, the 0,5 km you will earn easy if you continue the game from the beginning, just a few tries. The other quest about the helicopter, just be lucky and on 20-30 tries you will earn it.
The other is basically imposible if you have lag issues, you can be a master of the game but you have two sprites to kill two mutants in 5 seconds meanwhile you are smashing random stuff that because lag you will not ever even notice.
So just wait to they can solve the problem, try from time to time or on another computer (ah no, you can't because you will lose your game data)
I reached 15 km. but i went lagging from km 4. On km 8 the lag was totally unbearable and on km 12 the lag was like 5 consecutive seconds with the screen frozen for each 10. A mutant killed me and i couldn´t even see it. F-I-X T-H-E L-A-G I-S-S-U-E please
I read that you said that the problem was a little bit of lag on km 25.. There is nothing much to say. Basically it seems that the day I had a supermegacomputer i could BEGIN the game (because the creators doesn´t want to make the gamesaves properly) and think on the quest.
Actually,I have noticed some improvements. I was playing on the same computer, but this time I have switched off all the advanced functions and configured graphical display to show the minimum amount of details.
And everything went ok.
When I was playing for the first time, and reached 27 km, all settings were at maximum, plus one ad was slowing my computer which I noticed later.
Thanks you for the tip! It really changed to me. Instead suffering screen convulsions on km 5, its went on km 15, and so much thats the change that i earn the freacking quest! (20,14 lol so close call) So if you guys doesn´t know how to personalize your graphic card, google it because otherwise you couldn´t be able to play at this game.
