Yay! Happy Halloween!

Today I will scare small children. And if I find an empty field in my neighborhood people might be going neo cultist and sacrificing a small cat to the antichrist. I might want to see that.

I bought a couple bags of assorted miniature candy bars. I don't get a lot of trick-or-treaters, so I'm going to have a delicious weekend.

It's been raining all day and it looks like it'll continue overnight so sorry kids...

Ah... time to place an empty bowl outside next to a sign saying "Take ONE"... well, depends on where you live. Trick or treating isn't very big over here.

Well, all the trick-or-treaters have been by that are going to come by. So, at least for me, Halloween is over.

Which is fine by me. I was chatting to one of the trick-or-treaters about something or another (the music playing or the decorations, can't recall). She look roughly my age, so I was being a little more friendly than normal. Turns out, she was still a senior in high-school and had to get going because she has school in the morning. So I wished he a goodnight and a 'Happy Halloween!'.
I then silently cursed all the gods.

I'm sitting here crying.....Not because you guys are celebrating the devil's holiday, but because I will never know what it is like to dress up like a creep and then knock on random strangers' doors and threaten them for candy....*sniffle sniffle*

As you all know, i live in Israel. We dont have halloween. But earlier this year (or last year in the jewish calander) we had Purim. A hiday of costumes too (among other aspects). So here is mine:

I had a very memorable Halloween.

My family has an annual (duh) Halloween party each year, and my friend and I were playing xbox in the basement. My sister and her friends went trick-or-treating, only to return bearing a sign they said they took off the mailbox of one of the houses in our neighborhood (great idea, I know).

It read, in orange laminate: "Oh no! Better keep walking! This house doesn't celebrate Halloween, and neither should you! Go home and pray to your lord and savior Jesus Christ!"

A soul filled with holiday spirit if I've ever seen one.
