Everything else is battling, why should food be left out?

This should be pretty straightforward. Two foods will battle against each other, and the one with the most votes will win the round. Obviously you get one vote per round.

ROUND 1: Hamburgers vs. Hotdogs

Since it's tied, I'm going to cast the deciding vote, and that vote is for burritos. I find the flavors more interesting than those of tacos.

Burrito ~ 5
Taco ~ 4

Burrito wins. Next battle:

Soup

I'm a real man.

Does that mean Manly, Clancy, and Nurv have all been loving a dude?

Anyway, I choose soup. I don't like salad all that much.

I vote for soup, because when I'm sick with a sore throat, much like I am now, I could eat soup all day if I had access to it. There has never been any moment of my life where I've had any desire to eat a salad. What are they even for, besides making overweight people think they're losing weight? And some people eat them for fun? This is too surreal for me to wrap my mind around.

If I'm ever offered the choice between salad and soup in a restaurant, I will always go for the soup. First I ask what kind of soup they have, and if all they have are vile cheesy or creamy soups, I'll either go for the "no" option, or if that's not allowed, I'll ask someone else at the table if they would like a salad, and I'll palm it off on them, or if nobody wants a salad, I'll reinforce the "no" option as best I can.

The "soup or salad" rule is not one I approve of. If I order a steak or some spaghetti and meatballs, I expect to receive what I order and nothing more. I don't need complimentary food before my meal. Do I look like a charity? It only makes it harder to finish the food I actually want. Even Olive Garden enforces this rule now, and it caused them to waste valuable food all because my stomach wasn't big enough to hold a big bowl of soup, 37 breadsticks, and a plate of "authentic Italian food" the size of a satellite dish. I could easily power through the breadsticks and the Dish Network special, but the soup beforehand threw everything out of balance.

It still isn't enough to convince me to order a salad.

Soup is filling. Lettuce with dressing is not. I could eat two salads and still not be full, but a cup of gumbo somehow gets the job done. I'm voting for the magical one (soup).

I've never been able to keep a burrito down, which is why I [b]can't vote for them. EEEEEEW BURRITOS!!!

Because tacos and burritos don't have the same essential ingredients.

Soup. It's like a drink and a food in one! You can't get that out of your boring salad.

Actually, there is another way...

But I would not recommend it.

I'll eat entire lemons by themselves if I have access to them. Everyone mistakes me for Bear Grylls. Limes are bitter and much less fun to eat.

Lemons.

Lemons! Much easier to get and taste good on fish. Also, lemonade is better than limeade.
