Everything else is battling, why should food be left out?

This should be pretty straightforward. Two foods will battle against each other, and the one with the most votes will win the round. Obviously you get one vote per round.

There are many aspects to consider when choosing a favorite of one of these. For me, the biggest difference is that cake is dry and relatively tasteless and overly sweet, while pie is moist with many more flavors and varieties than cake could ever have.

I vote for the pie.

That's hard, I like a good pumpkin pie, cherry pie, blueberry pie with whipped cream and I like (LOVE) cheesecake as well so it's 50/50.

Oh yeah, Swiss Rolls, I forgot about those...so good!!!
Christmas Logs are great too. My GF got me a fancy one last Christmas.
She paid $60 for it plus $20 shipping!!!
Since I was the only one eating it, I had 8 days (2 slices/day) of pure happiness! xD

Okay then my vote goes for cake, sorry pumpkin pie!
