AG had a postcounter binded on ranks a while ago (the old Armorpoints system), but for some reasons (one weas surely spam) this system is no longer in use. But afair (somewhere) they jiggling around some ideas for "competition" system(s) which may also include a postcounter.
There already is a similar ranks thread here. The admins have also stated that a new rank type system is in the works similar to legacy quests. Also if the ranks were every 20 posts there would have to be hundreds of ranks because many users have thousands of posts.
The first release will be based on Quests. Rewarding people for massive posting is just welcoming people to spam the site, so we'll likely avoid using that as a direct way to reward people.

So quests for rank.... so if there is new people they can be a higher rank than the old AG pros? Guess it is a work in progress, or us "old Pros" need to game more.
