I played WW as much as I played MKD in my lifetime, so I think I have a good feel for both of those locations. World Bowser burned my retinas so I'm not even going to consider it beyond my optical damage. If you've ever played WW, you'd know that the best quality that game had was the charismatic and lovable environment. So that's where my vote is going.
I think Luigi's Mansion has made enough of a name for itself so that even people who don't know it's a game or a Mario Kart track are subconsciously aware that Luigi has a mansion. That's my vote.
I'm going to vote for Luigi's Mansion, because it is the only one of the three I have had much interaction with. I also enjoyed the mansion when I had the opportunity to play in it.
Luigi's Mansion - 5 votes World Bowser - 2 votes Wario World - 1 vote
Well I'm basically out of new ideas so I'm going back to what I know and will likely always do when this situation arises, that's right, Elder Scrolls locations.
Sadrith Mora
Balmora
Anvil
Bruma
Markarth
Riften
Sorry about the less than perfect pictures for Anvil and Riften, the only one's that I could find that were better (and that I was sure were not modded) had URL's the size of a novel.
Sadrith Mora. +: The perfect place for mages. -: It's full of crazy Telvannis and probably reeks from all the fungal pods and towers. It is located on an isle in the middle of a bleak and hostile coastline full of Cliff Racers and Slaughterfishes, two of the most annoying and numerous pests in all of Vvardenfell.
Balmora. +: Clean and sober architecture, a relative wealth in the centre. Quite pleasant climate in the area. I also have nostalgic feelings for Balmora for being pretty much the first and main town you spent your time in in the beginning of the game. -: It's full of corrupt Hlaalu and also the home of thieves and cutthroats. Some dirty side alleys.
Ald'Ruhn. .... you put the Hlaalu and Telvanni capitals of Vvardenfell here but not the Redoran one? N'wah!
Anvil. +: Great region, sunny, green, with fertile fields and on a seashore. Pleasant mediterranean architecture. -: There's a haunted manor, and the chapel was attacked and defiled. Also tends to have a problem with mountain lions.
Bruma. +: Nice town, friendly people. -: Cold.
Markarth. +: Love the Dwemer architecture, all those stone buildings, and the waterfalls. Great riches from the silver mines. -: It's in the hands of a despotic family, and constanly fought over between the Nords and the Reachmen.
Riften. +: Beautiful forests around, home to the excellent Black-Briar Meadery. -: Firmly in the grasp of Maven Black-Briar, who controls basically everything. There's also the thieves guild. And the forests around, despite being beautiful, are full of bears and trolls and bears and wolves and giant spiders and bears.
My vote depends a bit on what you ask. If it is about how I like the town, the architecture, how it looks and such, then definitely Markarth. If it is about which city I would rather live in, probably Anvil, as Markarth gets a bit too much attention from unfriendly people for my taste (what with the Silverbloods and the Forsworn).
All of these places look about the same to me. Maybe it would help if I had actually ever played the game, but from looking at them, Riften is the most beautiful to me.
I know literally nothing about any of these places, other than what is provided in the one picture for each of them, so I'm just going to use that as my reasoning behind my vote.
Sadrith Mora looks like the kind of place someone would get killed almost right away if they didn't have the proper armor, sword, potions, or handgun. At the very least, you could get mugged by a giant mushroom. No vote.
Anvil is a beautiful waterfront location, but that building on the left looks an awful lot like a church, and with such a central location, it looks to me as if Anvil might be a religious community, and the last thing they need is an atheist in their community. And the last thing I need is to be burned at the stake. No vote.
Bruma looks like a fairly safe place to live, being surrounded by that huge stone wall and apparently a mountain range, but it looks awfully susceptible to snowfall, and you know there's no central heating in that town. No vote.
Markarth is another beautiful location, with some lovely waterfalls. However, being surrounded by such massive cliffs can only mean that getting to and from Markarth is a hell of a chore. And those waterfalls. They're a beautiful work of Mother Nature, but I can't imagine living next to one and being able to sleep every night. It should be calming and soothing, but you'd have to be far enough away so it isn't ear-shattering. No vote.
Riften seems like a nice lakefront location. You'd have to get there by boat, but it seems like the kind of place that can provide all of your general needs. What bothers me are those mountains directly behind it. You can clearly see snow on those mountains, and not just on the very top. When that snow melts, that lake is going to flood, and there's no way those little wooden buildings are built to withstand that amount of water. From the looks of it, Riften is a disaster waiting to happen, and not the kind of place that's covered by insurance. No vote.
Balmora seems to be a more tropical waterfront location with no snowy mountains or churches or giant mushrooms. The lack of central heating would not be a problem, as temperatures there seem higher than they do in places like Bruma and Riften. It also looks like the kind of place were bar & grill restaurants would stay open past midnight, and where friendly people would walk the well-lit streets all hours of the night. Sure, I'd have to live in a tiny wooden house, but it can't be too much of a step below a cheap 2-bedroom apartment. Vote.

I think those two are the perfect size. The others are the ones that could benefit from a little resizing.
