In this thread discuss the unpleasant website experiences you've endured in your past. (Example: Got hacked or harassed)
Mine: Newgrounds is probably the worst site I've ever been a member of for one reason alone: the moderators there are nothing like the helpful, qualified moderators of this website. One moderator in particular, GoryBlizzard, didn't like my views, so he was always following me around, looking for ways to get me in trouble. I was always getting banned for silly little things like my lack of brevity and personal opinions. The mods of that website harassed me continually, and I can't imagine what the minimal if non-existent qualifications for becoming a Newgrounds mod are! GoryBlizzard in particular was the most pathetic, immature, and rude person I have ever ran into online.
Kongregate:
Some people really cannot let go of the past and I've been forced to leave because of a stalker there that the admins would do nothing about and he freaked me out. All they were willing to do was ban my account at my request so he'd bugger off.
Trying to think of another one. Basil Market is another where I've seen some downright immature behaviour.
Youtube. The comments. Bubblebox. The porn site spam in the chat box. Newgrounds. ALL the bans. Google images. That toster search. Wikipedia. Of course the docter is the awnser to everything. StilhausKitchens.com. Because a burnt down kitchen is amazing!
Three years ago, mid-March, I awoke to the outer parts of Armor Games ablaze. It was only three months previous that I had beat back a small group of these barbarians I spied during regular patrols. It was no big feat. I had killed many of their scouts before, but the skirmish was only a hint of things to come. On the day of the invasion the barbarians had broken past the gates and infiltrated the outer parts of the city. They were easily slain, but the waves were relentless. When we cleared one part of the city, the next wave had already penetrated the walls and had begun to pour in to fill the void. Hour after hour, day after day, week after week. I wore rather quickly, but there was fighting to be done. Havens we're formed, but they were no replacement for the splendor of the Great City. Battles raged for two months before our wizards successfully walled off the entire city from nearly all outside influence. The city was safe for over a year with the iron veil in place, but our influenced waned. It was decided that the veil was to be lifted and the gates opened to all once more, but the barbarians returned in greater numbers once more. Fortunately, wizards figured out a workable solution and nowadays, you really don't see the barbarians around all that much.
So, yeah, the First Great Sack of Armor Games was a pretty terrible experience. The second one not so much. Never remember being so angry on Armor Games. Ugh.
i had a bad experience at the same place freank did bcuz they did not b nice 2 me even though i am totally cool and they said things like "would you stop typing in all caps?" and "you don't make any sense" and that rely hurt my feelings bcuz i am cool and ppl tell me tht
Hmm, worst experience for me was Kongregate... I reported that people on the site were using the chats on the site to distribute illegal stuff (mentioning it would violate rules on this site) and I ended up with an admin on the site cyber stalking me, figuring out my address, and threatening to kill me and assault me in various horrible ways that would not be appropriate to describe. I reported it and publicized screenshots of the bad stuff to the people running the site and they did nothing. They even allowed the person to continue being an admin.
