It was with great excitement that I purchased the 'Boss' trailer in the game Road of Fury. I expected great things from this new vehicle, and I promptly upgraded everything about it and went forth to battle. However, I must say that I am seriously disappointed by the effectiveness of its railgun.
It has a horrific reload rate, which would make it useless as a single vehicle. It may deal high damage, however, it is nullified by the time it spends reloading, a window of time during which other weapons (such as the Lasaahh) can seriously out damage it. The only thing this weapon has that is of some use is its penetration, which is only useful in limited situations.
Am I missing anything, or is the railgun really bad?
It only works well with ground vehicles, and even then it isnt very effective. an extra mini gun that has not been upgraded is more useful than a fully upgraded rail gun
I've noticed that with the UAVs. If I manage to get even 2 in the air at the same time, that's a massive boost for the team's firepower.
Right now I'm using two rocket launchers and the Railgun, which is useful in certain situations...more than anything, I have that vehicle for its UAV...
