1) This game currently doesn't work on Chrome, so all bug reports are for IE.
2) The controls seem buggy. For example, wall jumps frequently don't register.
3) Not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but holding an arrow key prevents the player from attacking. Another attack-related bug is that if you're right next to the wall, you can't attack it.
Actually I haven't updated the game at all since this post, most likely you guys have different Flash Players. I'll lower the flash player to 9 or 10 so it will run right on more computers.
Played through it. Thoughts: >Art aesthetic is neat, I really felt like I was the doodle from some kids imagination. >Jumping felt a bit random. I did not feel like I could control my wall-jumps. >My first instinct was to jump on the first enemy I saw. This damaged me. I would suggest making the enemy spiky or something to discourage this. >I did not like the fact that I could only attack while running, and not while jumping either. I want to be able to fly-kick enemies in the face. >I had a hard time noticing the HUD and did not care much about how much health/energy I had left. >I REALLY wanted to fly kick the wall. >I do not feel like light-bulbs should make platforms cease to exist. They should only be made invisible. A light-bulb implies revealing what is hidden, not creating something new.
Ultimately, I really like your game. It made me want to play it to the end and actually convinced me to make an account to leave feedback.
Thanks for the feedback Filieces, I'll be sure to make the HUD bigger in the next update.
Lots of people on different forums also don't enjoy the jumping, so I'll try to change that too.
Also, if you could elaborate on the jumping part as to what exactly you didn't like about, like do you think it feels like he's floating? Or is gravity too strong? Anyways, thanks for the feedback!

Just a straightforward thing - if the up arrow isn't being used for anything else, I would much rather use that to jump. But the 'feel' of the wall jumping is really inconsistent. Sometimes I just immediately off the wall and in the opposite direction. Other times, I sort of cling to wall and can control the jumps. I would much prefer the latter, using a wall cling (by holding the arrow towards the wall) and then a controlled jump.
