His formula was a jumble of numbers output from his epic computer. Here's the parentheses version. If it's too complicated, I'll try to simplify it. But not much I can do - it's naturally complicated...combining 64 gems in intricate ways, after all.

Create 20 duplicates.
A = (g+g) + (g+g) + (g+g) + (g+g)
B = (g+g) + (g+g) + ((g+g) + (((((g+g) +g) +g) +g) +g))
C = A + B
Create 36 duplicates.
D = (g+g) + (g+g) + ((g+g) + (((((g+g) +g) +g) +g) +g))
E = ((g+g) + (((((g+g) +g) +g) +g) +g))
Duplicate E( E value = G * 8)
F = ((((E + (g+g)) + (g+g)) + ((g+g) +g)) + (((g+g) +g) +g)) + ((((g+g) +g) +g) +g)
G = E + F
H = D + G
I = D + H

= a gem 5 grades higher, 64x cost(6 grade gem cost) with ~6% more specials than a 16-combined gem at Grade 18Equivalent.

Oh! good catch. Dunno how that ended up there, I was sure I typed C. Ah well, I can't edit it....too much time elapsed.

Guys, unbelievable! I just switched in-game from 16-c to 64-c (at Grade 38) - it is a lot of work but it looks great. To reduce time till I get enough mana, I just duped the gem 6 times and put it in the amps, (no pure gems) - I think, this will result in a better time-mana ratio.
Thanks for your efforts!

For amps, it doesn't take much time at all. Remember, just 64c one and dupe it five times.

Sure, in the end, during manafarming I find it more easy for me, to use the amps, I went further and stored the 8.1-4 and 4.1-4 in Traps&Amps and found it useful

to increase the mana gain i always put 3 mana traps between the 6(better 8 or 10) amps, so that nearly no monster passes behind the traps.

and in case they pass through i have 2 or 3 towers near the orb, where i put my kill gems in when i need them. and when this happens, i also upgrade the traps and amps gems with the 16 combine method.

i still don' overbomb the waves, just to 999 monsters (far less for giants) around midgame.

if u dupe triple gem...you get 40% less mana from amps, or so. Use pure O.

How to get them 1 grade below 32 spec + 64 C.

1x 16 C to make 16 G1 into G4. Then infinite 64 C to turn into 9, 14, 19 etc. While 32 - 64 C gem goes 5, 10, 15, 20 etc.

Smario >1 trap past near-max skills = lag. One trap, 6 amp = best if you have ~at least 30 in relevant skills.

Hm, When I use 64-c I have a lot of mana unspent - is the mana better placed in manapool or in amps? I upgrade every mana-lock-click...
And somehow I find 64-c not so easy to do, both of my gems have 'errors' implemented during the upgrade process... But that is my fault!

hi thuderrider, i have at the moment the following skills:
top row all 39 (fusion 45)
red,orange,black, yellow 27
traps and amps 30

i have one spot for at least 6 amps and put the traps in there.

what do you mean with "1 trap past near-max skills = lag" ?

Skills give trap massive attack speed. It cause lag to run code to hit thousands of monsters thousands times per sec.

still no problem here.

When you set targeting of the gem to random it isnt so bad cuz it just takes random mob from the list. But when you go into specific targeting it has to test every mob in range which lags.

Smario, >1 means greater than one.

So I said, greater than one trap causes loads of extra lag, thanks to twice - triple chain, twice - triple speed, etc.

Create 20 duplicates.
A = (g+g) + (g+g) + (g+g) + (g+g)
B = (g+g) + (g+g) + ((g+g) + (((((g+g) +g) +g) +g) +g))
C = A + B
Create 36 duplicates.
D = (g+g) + (g+g) + ((g+g) + (((((g+g) +g) +g) +g) +g))
E = ((g+g) + (((((g+g) +g) +g) +g) +g))
Duplicate E( E value = G * 8)
F = ((((E + (g+g)) + (g+g)) + ((g+g) +g)) + (((g+g) +g) +g)) + ((((g+g) +g) +g) +g)
G = E + F
H = D + G
I = D + H

Because brackets aren't enough:
Create 20 duplicates.
A =
g + g
g + g
g + g
g + g

B =
g + g
+
g + g

g + g

C = A + B

Create 36 duplicates.

D =

g + g

g + g

+ g
+ g
+ g

E =

Duplicate E.

G = E + F
H = D + G
I = D +H

I don't know why I did this.
I think it was mostly to show how complex this is.
