"Infinite Projectiles" is a bonus you can get from a Soulette, if you'll give her a flower (it is one out of four possible bonuses).
Endless Hunter is one of the challenges (they are accessibile from the map screen after few missions). You must complete Hunter I, Hunter II and Hunter III in order to start Endless Hunter.
Note: "Get 15,000 points or more in the Infinite Hunter challenge." should be " Get 15,000 points or more in the Endless Hunter challenge."
@Tasselfoot - I have the same problem as Reton. I skip the cutscene the instant I can, I hit him the second I can all 4 times, and it still doesn't trigger.
If they have a time based achievement they REALLY need to add a timer that you can see. I literally have no idea how close I am and cannot see any way to do it faster than I already am.
Wasn't me. But you're welcome. Still waiting to hear back from the dev.
However... if a quest isn't earning for you, refreshing is always a good trick/try... a lot of quests only award the 1st time you earn it. So if a server hiccups or your internet drops for a second, it might not award. And then you'd need to refresh to get it to trigger.
On the whole, it was a decent game but I was EXTREMELY disappointed in most of the quests.
The first few are ok - the standard easy quests of 'kill x enemies in x manner' and 'buy x early piece of gear' were the standard easy quests. 'Finish x level with a gimmick' at least added a bit of a twist and necessitated actually going for the quest, which was fine and added on to the game. Kill the captain in 20 seconds was a bit annoying simply because with lack of any timekeeping in game it is incredibly hard to judge how close you were to finishing the quest, but if they would add that in is a fine quest, very skill based, you can't make a mistake in the fight since being hit yourself means you can't deal damage for a couple seconds, basically resulting in an auto-fail on the quest.
Then we get to the incredibly poorly thought out quests.
6 enemies with Infinite Ammo is just stupid. You have to go through a level and hope that MAYBE you get the buff, and then MAYBE you run into 6 enemies before it wears off. Literally all you do is play until you get the buff, then jump up and down spamming the 'fire projectile' key until it wears off hoping 6 enemies spawn. Zero skill involved and way too RNG.
Combo x50 has some degree of skill, but it has a huge glaring flaw, namely that you have to kill enemies within a certain period of time to maintain the combo. Normally this wouldn't necessarily be bad, but the problem is that with the levels RANDOMIZED, you are once again at the mercy of the RNG to give you enemies in quick enough sequence. It would be a pretty good (and still decently tough) achievement if the combo maintained until you got hit, but the randomized levels just add unnecessary RNG into it.
Finally, I was incredibly disappointed in Endless Hunter. You only advance past the lower levels of Hunter by killing EVERY enemy in the level - which is good. The last 2 levels took a few tries to pull off and get every single enemy.
Then you get to Endless, and the point system is based simply on number of enemies killed. Not combo length, not enemies killed without missing one, not length of time survived, but pure, straight number killed. And since every one of the enemies is worth EXACTLY the same points, it actively encourages you to NOT kill every enemy. Why risk going for the elite spearman on the last platform when you can just glide under him and suffer no ill effects? In what world should killing the laughably ineffective knife enemies be worth the same number of points as the elite spearman?
Endless really needed to have it's points based on either Combo size or number of consecutive enemies killed without missing one. The way it is now is just... bad.
@Olinser: Randomization isn't an issue for 50x. Survival is consistent in enemies, but it starts around 30 enemies, so it takes a few zones before there is enough. Level 9 is fairly consistent and a lot easier to get through with a bit of skill. It's next to impossible to do it on Level 10, because it has dead spots.
I haven´t done the "sword master" quest yet, but I think that this one will be pretty easy in challenge "endless hunter". The first level of this challenge has good amount of enemies and in endless mode it will be easy but it takes some time to accomplish it.
I liked the game and it's quests. The combo and endless mode one were hard but doable. Caught myself screaming "Yes!" when I did the 50x Combo quest ^.^
Hey guys, just a quick heads up regarding Quick Death challenge that seems to be a problem for some of you : this is a speed run thing, you have to beat the timer by understanding the most efficient way to attack the boss. Just try, and if you don't get the Quest try something even more bold
Tried clean "jump the ground shark - attack" sequence on Black Knight for some time. Didnt work, though I am pretty sure that this is as fast as it goes. Or there is faster way after all?
The black knight quest can be done in about 10 seconds. He can be hit before he strikes for the first time. After that, avoid his super swing and then hit him again. Repeat 4 times and it´s done.
