The era before Disney ruined childrens' movies. Sure all kids movies had some musical numbers but in the early 90s everything became too much like Disney. All Dogs go to Heaven (1989) and The Land Before Time (1988) were fantastic movies. But even as a child I complained that the sequels had too many musical numbers and were too much like Disney to be any good.
Also, classic looney tunes. No list of oldies but goodies is complete without classic looney tunes.
Gargoyles, the animated TV series. I used to watch it as a child, still one of my favourite series. It's timeless.
I totally agree! How about Conan the Adventurer? I used to watch this series as well. I love Needle's (the phoenix) quote: " Whoaa you big dumb barbarian!"
