Well this thread is branched off of the Mudkip drawing thread. This will be the same accept for a new rule.

RULES
All pictures must be made using MS art.

The pictures must be appropriate (I will accept constipated Pikachus )

The pictures must of course be of the pokemon stated.

There will be a designed date for all entries. No prizes unless a md wants to. The real prize is knowing that you own at drawing pokemon!

Well, I will go first,
EVERYONE, draw a Pikachu! The start date is now, and the end date is July 10th.

The first contest will be judged by me, and I will chosee the winner. The winner then chooses a new pokemon, and he/she is now the judge. If the winner declines, the judging and assigning duties will go to the runner-up chosen by the prior judge.

So now! Go draw some Pikachus!

Well, it seems that the judging is finally here. It has been a long contest...with the original closing date being the 20th of February, it is now the 8th of March.

The Pokemon theme for this round was Turtwig, and just for kicks, here is a picture of one straight off the Pokemon Wiki!

Well, that is an official picture of Turtwig, well not really official - official fan-art, so I suppose I should get on with the Judging!

Judging!

There were a grand total of 7 entries into this contest, 8 if you include Raptor's Champions Exhibit Entry and 9 if you include my failed attempt at a 'How to Enter This Contest' entry.

Having 9 entries is excellent, it is two up from the last contest (Lugia) and then 4 up from the contest before that. That means we have a steady growth of approximately 22%!! I hope to see more entries in the next competition!

Champion's Exhibit - RaptorExx

This is a very good entry although I think that the Turtwigs are slightly miniature! It is a nice terrarium and it has a good 3D effect. Nice food container too! One slight problem is that the colour of the Turtwigs is slightly off...

When I saw this entry I didn't really get it! I couldn't understand why people were laughing at a cute little Turtwig asleep on the edge of a cliff. Once I discovered the secret joke, I almost fell off my chair with laughter...Ok, maybe that is an exaggeration, but it was very clever and very funny.

I would say that is why earnt it first place, although it is very well drawn and a very good likeness to the original Pokemon. Well Done Cenere! Post on...Strop's Profile for a merit...(he doesn't know about this yet...)

I liked this entry. It is one of those entries that you know has been made in Paint! The Turtwig looks very happy but slightly fat. One improvement that could have been made was to get rid of the lines that intersect the body at the top of the legs.

Overall, Well Done! It is good to see new users entering into these competitions. On behalf of the whole Art, Music and Writing Forum I would like to Officially Welcome You to this area of the Forums. We hope to see more entries from you in the various competitions that are running!

This entry also made me laugh! It is a very clever idea, a nice 'I don't care' feel to it. However, this also wasn't done in Paint, as it is obviously hand drawn, however since no one complained about it not being in the correct program I don't think it will matter. You did at least open it in Paint when you scanned it right?

Well done for Hand-drawing it...You get Third this time and the entry will be allowed, however I will seek clarification on whether it will be allowed next time.

Zega - The 'ZOMFG It's a Floating Head' Award

This entry made me laugh! I was like 'Where's the body?' Seeing as it never appeared, I guessed that it must be meant to be like that! I suppose the head just floats around the world, scaring people as they go ab- ARGH A HEAD JUST FLOATED PAST MY WINDOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Done Zega! Maybe Next time add a body!

Sense - The 'Moustached Turtwig Goes Hiking' Award

I am not quite sure what to make of this entry. I don't know if the Moustache is meant to be action lines or something...but it looks like a moustache to me! This is a good entry because it bumped the entry number up and made everyone happy!

I hope to see more from you in the future Sense!

Cholokid and Lord_Mist = The 'Deforestation' Award

You two forgot the trees on top of Turtwig's head. Yes Cholo, Elvis Turtle does have hair, but it isn't a tree like it is meant to be. And Yes Lord_Mist, there is a tree in your entry, but it needed to be on the turtles head.

The entries were good, but we were looking for Turtwigs, not just Turtles!

Technically they are disqualified, but I will let it slide this time! Next time stick to the theme!

Summing Up

Well, that is the judging finished for another week...or month! The next theme will be decided by Cenere - so expect something that isn't a 4th Gen!

The end of the round will be around the end of March, unless we can get at least six entries before then...and I hope that we will!

Well from my level of standards that would be Leonardo Da Vinci I am so bad at art I hate it(well I like it because its not really work but its hard).I think its good still and I don't even know what Meowth looks like.

It is drawn on MS paint for about 1 minute.

1 MINUTE!!!!!!!!!That would take me about 30 minutes and it still wouldn't be that good.*faints*
