Anyway, seeing as you got behind me *Turns around simultaneously performing a horizontal swipe with the sword* I now have to focus on close combat!

*swipe is deflected off the side of the shield as the latter is pushed forward*

I don't see many ways for that little trick of yours to work honestly. Your shield will have to be in a very particular positioning compared to my sword, especially since I don't use many 'stabbing' moves. Unless if I am underestimating the portal's strength, in which case it would be very likely to start jamming other objects around the shield in it as well.

So, hmm, this gets me thinking...what are you trying to achieve here?

*Stabs the sword in the ground, charging it with fire*

What I am trying to achieve? Not getting hit by fireballs any longer. What are you trying to achieve? Even if I can't make your sword disappear into the portal, it still serves as an impervious shield because physics. Whether your sword is ablaze or not, apart from looking cool, won't make much difference.

By the way, planting your sword in the ground in the middle of a combat is a very bad idea... *throws adamantium axe at Doombreed*

It's a good thing this tavern is self-repairing. Saves a lot of money in the long run.

Yeah, I've noticed the self-repairing enchantment. If not for it the tavern would have been busted an hour or two ago.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Nobody really knows the origins of the tavern anyway. What I can say is that it's a gateway to multiple universes.

*takes out two healing potions and passes one to mamibo*

So stabbing your sword in the floor is a bad move? and throwing your weapon at your opponent isn't? Especially when said opponent can do THIS!?
