Right, first of all sorry for digging up an old post, but I couldn't find another one about feedback for the new chat-function.
Feedback: Nice work on it, it works great. But I would like to see a few things added. I accidentally closed a private chat and since the person was offline I could not open it again. So I would like to see an option added where you can chat to offline people. Let's say for example that there's an option in the Friends-chat window where you can select "Show offline friends". So you can also give them a whisper!
