Thanks for all your suggestions guys! I'd like to inform you the game design of S&S2 is pretty much done, and I'm glad to tell you that LOT of stuff you mentioned will be in the game
That doesn't include multiplayer, which is impossible for us to make right now.
Here is a short list of the game features:
- World map of the Neverseen to explore. Main path + other side quests locations.
- Town to build and upgrade. Cool NPC to discover and interact with. (Blacksmith, alchemist, in keeper, other weirdos...)
- More dynamic combat system (real time dodge, block, counter, critical, etc.)
- More interesting enemies: attack patterns, abilities and Epic Boss Fight!
- Deeper Hero customization (Male/Female, More skins, skills, abilities, equipment, stats, etc.)
- Evolution in Training mini game with more features to unlock as you progress, more missions, medals, etc.
- 6 Different weapons class to upgrade/equip/loot individually.
- Unique Armor system to collect and upgrade.
- Awesome art and animations improvement
- Pets to catch and rich ally system, they will help you in fights.
- Secrets hidden in the dark...
- TONS of other stuff we want to add if we have time
Having a team like archers Then the archery training goes up with it. And a Swordsman or a mage or rogue and More equipments or Loots about monsters. And change the coliseum system more like PvP's and make a different place for monsters and add a quest journals
Id say add a feel of Rouge soul into it like add a "Loot run" mode. And isnt attacking training more so like reflexes? I think that should be changed, maybe like a bar and you have to get the right timing of your attack and once you get far into it the bar will change like the position of the "Good" area and smaller "good" areas.
Forgot to mention maybe a "Team" and you have to TRAIN EVERY MEMBER. Yay! im suggesting CHALLENGE. And you can position each member like So in so in the front and takes dammage and so and so in the back and used ranged attacks.
Most of the additions I would like are already here, but I have two more details. 1: To not just add exploration, but more interaction with what you build and acquire. 2: Some more things to spend your rubies on. It is very easy in the original Swords & Souls to obtain tens of thousands of rubies, yet have nothing to spend them on. I was left thinking "this is it?"
