Thanks for all your suggestions guys! I'd like to inform you the game design of S&S2 is pretty much done, and I'm glad to tell you that LOT of stuff you mentioned will be in the game
That doesn't include multiplayer, which is impossible for us to make right now.
Here is a short list of the game features:
- World map of the Neverseen to explore. Main path + other side quests locations.
- Town to build and upgrade. Cool NPC to discover and interact with. (Blacksmith, alchemist, in keeper, other weirdos...)
- More dynamic combat system (real time dodge, block, counter, critical, etc.)
- More interesting enemies: attack patterns, abilities and Epic Boss Fight!
- Deeper Hero customization (Male/Female, More skins, skills, abilities, equipment, stats, etc.)
- Evolution in Training mini game with more features to unlock as you progress, more missions, medals, etc.
- 6 Different weapons class to upgrade/equip/loot individually.
- Unique Armor system to collect and upgrade.
- Awesome art and animations improvement
- Pets to catch and rich ally system, they will help you in fights.
- Secrets hidden in the dark...
- TONS of other stuff we want to add if we have time
let me share some ideas to make the game awesome,Add a armory system:you want to get back to your items but can't? no problem to the armory! the armory its a system where you can do change your weapons and shields and even Ranged and armor!,next idea its the ore and sell system:the ore and sell system allows you to sell ores you have like copper and gold and etc. to the sell system work there its a ore system(a.k.a mining system)the system who will make sure your sell trades be great!,that its all i have hope it helped
My idea was to possibly have multiple characters and have massive battles with a team of four or so characters versus tons of enemies at once. It's probably very difficult to code something that massive though, so it's just a thought
-Maybe you could add a simple craft system. Mobs will drop random craft materials and player will do something with them. Like extra items (necks, rings) with minor bonuses.
-You could add an extra map too arena 1 = map 1, arena 2 = map 2 etc.
