I'm not sure how i automatically regenerate 29 HP by resting a few hours and eating. But i'll take it.

You followed the woman. You came out to a narrow corridor and suspected that the other doors similar to yours belonged to prisons. You saw the woman's needle glove clinging onto her belt.

You eventually came into a room where the woman stopped and addressed the boss. The room was quite small, the desk filling up a quarter of the room. There were a few stacks of paper loosely arranged on the table. The man you saw was a stout, slightly chubby individual.

"This the boy?" he said as he looked up from his paperwork. You were wondering why gangs had paperwork. "Ax? Good to see that you've joined the cause. Fae, please leave."

She nodded and left.

"I'm pretty sure Fae has already told you about what you're going to do. Your target is Reagul. He's the principal of your school, I assume?"

He went back to writing for a moment before looking back up.

"Fae will accompany you. You get rid of him, and we'll make a deal. Are you willing to?"

'Can you hear my thoughts, since you can speak in my head?', I think out of curiosity. I go outside and quickly assess the situation, ash crust ready.

"Sure, I can," the assassin said in your head as you heard another gunshot. "How do you think we talked back in the factory?"

You went outside and saw a wall of knives about thirty feet away from you.

(*) OVERUSED MEME WARNING: "... and it didn't stop me from being an adventurer."

It's not even an overused meme at this point. It's dead.

I walk a few steps towards the knife guy. "I survived a shot to the head(*)", I say in a clear voice. "Do you think those knives frighten me?" As I say this, I extend my right arm forward and push out a stream of ash, directly towards the knife guy and through his knife wall. I concentrate on pushing the ash in a sort of continuous beam or lasso, not a diffuse cloud (keeping at least some kind of connection with the ash, even if it is powdery and not solid, might make it easier to control all of it); if I succeed in getting ash through between the knives and at the man, I use my will to clump it together onto his face, closing my right hand into a fist as I try.

"I survived a shot to the head," you said, whom the assassin laughed out loud. "Do you think those knives frighten me?"

You sent a stream of ash towards the man. He split his wall of knives and stopped your stream in time. You couldn't feel any ash that had gone through it. The wall was tightly shut.

"The two of you? Okay, fine. But the three of you now? Great. See ya', guys."

Your stream of ash finally broke through the wall, only for you to see that he was flying away on a carpet of knives.

"Argh!" the assassin uttered as he took the pistol with his left hand and fired, missing completely because he was right-handed.

There were a few moments of silence before the man spoke up.

"Get Cason away from him. Go and figure it out. Do it, and you get your cure."

You were dragged out by Fae.

"Let's go," Fae said as you felt a jackhammer hit your head and fell unconscious.

You woke up in darkness, your hands and feet bound. A few moments later, light got into your eyes, stinging them to the worst degree before you saw Fae blocking the sun. She put something around your neck. And it beeped.

"You do anything stupid, we'll give you an explosive kind of cure."

In a swift motion, Fae released your hands and feet, dragging you out.

You were in an alley, but you recognised the place. It was just opposite the school.

I place my hand on the Collar. "I hadn't found him, and it's almost class time."
If i had the things i am supposed to have for today's class, i continue placing my hand on the collar and say "I will go to class first."
If not, i will place my hand on the collar and say "I will head to his office."

You didn't have your bag with you, so you went to his office.

"Cason's probably there somewhere. Watch out."

When you opened the door to Mr. Reagul's office, it was quiet enough that Cason and Reagul didn't notice you opening it.
