Military coup that started three days ago in Turkey has failed. In only few hours, coup was crushed by civilians loyal to Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
265 people has been killed, and over 6000 people will be arrested for high treason. 2459 Erdogan's opponents on key places in military are fired and replaced with people loyal to him. Small number of soldiers that were participating in coup have escaped to Greece and asked for asylum.
After this event, Erdogan claims that he is stronger than before. He started a massive cleanup of his opponents and in probably weeks or less he will have absolutely nobody to oppose him.
