Recently it has come to my knowledge that its important to have the right date of birth set, so i was wondering if the date of birth that i filled in 6 years ago is actually the right one
Since your date of birth isn't the sort of thing that would change (like your e-mail address or profile information) and since we don't share that information with other users, you wouldn't be able to see it or change it. The date of birth only matters for age verification for having an account. As far as I'm aware, it plays no other role--I can't think of anything that would 'unlock' or whatever at an appropriate age here.
