Just wondering.. The title of the thread is weird.
What I mean is, should you really use the word "an" before the word "user?" Or is it the other way? So it's spoken as "an user" ??
I mean, not being a li'l nerd here, but you should use the word "a" before words like "university," "universe," or even "user.." For example, the word "hour" is used with the word "an," and not automatically just "a" because the word starts with a letter that is a consonant. All in all, it's on how you pronounce the word itself. It doesn't matter if it begins with a vowel, but it's in how you pronounce it like it begins with a consonant. (e.g. "university" is pronounced as yï "ni vúrssÉti or yuniversity)
